Dr. Thomas was born in Vienna, Austria, where originally began his medical studies at the Vienna University Medical School. After these academic years, he enrolled at the Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine in Israel, where he finished his education and completed a year of rotating internship.
As Chief Resident of the clinic Dr. Thomas was recognized with the Dr. Solomon Silver Award in Clinical Medicine, which is awarded each year to “that junior member of The Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center staff who best represents the ability to employ the theoretical advances in research & development of reproductive medicine to the real-cases practice of the modern clinical medicine.”
